About the company
A law firm built on experience
Sumer was founded in Basra in 2016 by Mohammed Abdulridha Khazaal, a lawyer since 2004, to grow an individual practice into a full law firm. Today four lawyers serve clients across Iraq.
Our focus is companies: registering them, and handling the legal work they need once they operate. Many of our clients are contractors and businesses in the oil and gas sector, and we help foreign companies open a branch, do business, or establish a company in Iraq.
We also represent clients in court, and handle real estate and general legal matters.
